Kenneth J. Harasym Sr.

President and the founder of Economic Planning Health Corporation since its inception in 1993. It was founded on the ideals of offering the best quality service by providing employee benefits and retirement plans in the Long Island area. Having been in the insurance industry 32 years, Kenneth has established himself as a top notched, ethical and service oriented professional. He focuses on areas of employee benefits including health insurance, work site programs, 401(k), Medicare and tax advantaged programs for both employers and employees. While focused on all areas of the business, he keeps a keen trained eye on strategic investments while always looking for innovative ways to reduce the employer's expenditure for benefits.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University. He has been in business for 32 years and has been applying his business acumen to the needs of his clients for that entire time. He say's “the best way to understand a business person needs is to have walked in a business person's shoes”.

Kenneth is active in both his business and local communities. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and has received numerous awards as a "Peak Performer" with multiple Insurance and Investment Companies. He enjoys coaching, is active in Boy Scouts, enjoys traveling, the outdoors and golf. He makes his home with his wife and children in Shoreham and is a lifelong resident of Long Island.


Vannie Tuthill
Vanie Tuthill has been involved in the insurance industry for over 30 years when she was working for Riverhead Oil Products Inc. Licensed in 2002, she opened her own agency in 2003. Vanie began by selling group health insurance and sole proprietor plans. Vanie now specializes in Medicare Supplement Plans, Advantage Plans and Part D prescription plans.

With the rising cost of health insurance Vanie’s business acumen as a former financial administrator and business owner makes her uniquely qualified to assist business owners in selecting employee benefits, as well as helping individuals in this new environment.

Vanie has done numerous speaking engagements in the area about Part D prescription plans since they were first introduced in 2006, as well as Medicare Gap Plans, and has added seminars and counseled clients in understanding insurance and The Affordable Care Act. She has the NYS Exchange certification for Individual and Small Business Plans (SHOP).
Vanie is involved in community service and trade organizations; Trustee for the Calverton Civic Association, East End Women’ Network, Letip Networking, Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and member National Association of Health Insurance Underwriters.


Kathryn Ruhle
Kathryn Ruhle began her career in employee benefits over fifteen years ago with Aetna US Healthcare where she worked with all of the area’s top leading brokers. After three successful years at Aetna, Kathryn advanced her career as an employee benefits consultant responsible for designing and implementing insurance and benefit plans for employer groups ranging in size from 2 to over 3,000 employees. Following the demand of the market, she joined Aflac three years ago as a Voluntary Benefits Specialist and Regional Broker Coordinator where she currently helps companies supplement their high deductible health plans with complimentary voluntary programs. She is a dedicated expert in work-site programs and works hard to support the EPHC Team.

Kathryn resides in Massapequa with her husband, Patrick, and their two sons, Patrick and Ryan.

They are extremely competent and helpful to all of my clients. They are here to answer questions and deal with problems. With over thirty years combined experience you know you are in good hands.
